Is it just me or is this new season the best yet!

I love Dexter im dreading the day they say the show is ending this already happened to me with Lost and Prison Break, Heroes too but to be fair that was getting poor.

I thought the first episode was a little slow, especially in contrast to all that happened in the final episode last season. And I felt that him killing that guy in the gas station was gratuitous. That's not the calm, planning way that Dexter works.

I am in love with Dexter <3. It has been one of those shows that never lets me down. It always delivers and it makes you feel like Dexter Morgan is opening and growing along with the you, the viewer. Though, him crying....creepy <.<

Yes Dexter is wonderful to watch. I think we all need a Dexter in our lives. I know there are people put there that deserve to die. I have on occasion felt disappointed with an episode but.......the writers do that to lull us into a false sense of security and make us desire Dexter the way we know him. I applaud the person playing his character b/c he does a phenomenal job nailing it and all the while in season 4 battling cancer. Love Michael hall

yes the author of the dexter books is Jeff Lindsay (and the show is based on these books), currently he has written four books on the dexter series. Good idea to check them out, I'm sure your local library would have copies. Another good area to good some info is if you are a facebook user to go to the official dexter site and click like, that way you get to read some cool info on the characters, the actors, and the behind the scenes stuff.
My take on Dexter is that he is evolving in his persona and ability to form relationships with people (evidenced by his feeling of utter despair at the murder of his wife) and his deep feelings of being a father and caring for his son - so very protective. This is rather nice to see that side of him struggling with his 'mentor' father and his challenging of The Code. If Dexter were to remain Dexter from Season 1 I don't think we would be watching Dexter Season 7 or beyond. Can't wait to see where the Quinn super-snooper will go and if Debra gets more suspicious .... way to go Dexter team !

I am also wondering when it will end.. I hope we get another 2 or 3 seasons. It's the only show I watch!! I also agree this season is awesome!! My favorite yet!! I can't wait to see the new episode tonight... I wonder when it will be on this website?

I caught up with all 5 five seasons yesterday. It only took a week to watch them all. whew. Dexter is a "must see" for me.

5 Seasons with 12 episodes each = 60 Where are you seeing the extra episode?
