Impossible to download ... I seem to be in an eternal download nightmare!

I have located a series of videos from the Tv-Shows category and I can play them online *but* when I click on Download Video I get the prompt to download eMule. I did this the first time *but* even after downloading I still get the eMule download prompt.
If I click on Download on the left side of the video I get and ad.adperium window and then an advertisement to win an iPAD 2.
Part 2
Somewhere along the line in the registration process for Project – Free TV, I got the iLivid Download manager into which I paste the link from the web page displaying the video I have selected; this takes me to a "Download xxx in High Definition with eMule" prompt.
When I click this link nothing happens.
So, I click on the link "Download did not start? Click here" the result of which is a "Report url of links that fail download". I did this but ... it happens with all videos (so far). What am I doing wrong? Or am I missing some component that doesn’t allow download?
Watching videos on TUBE+
I select the video from Watch Online which is fine but ... if I try to download using either the Play Now or Download buttons, all I get is the prompt to download iLivid (which I aleady have). The link under the video to download with eMule does nothing.
How can I download the video itself? Can someone please enlighten me?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Project Free Tv provides links for you to watch videos online as this is a streaming site, you dont offer ways to download the videos they use there. The download links/buttons you see are just adverts and are not associated with Project Free Tv.
Here is how to watch videos on free-tv just incase you were having trouble finding what to click.

Hope this helps out.

Thanks for the reply ... and apologies for the delay in my response as I have been offline for a few days.
I am not sure if my original post was very clear (maybe frustration on top of frustration on top of frustration) but, to clarify, I can view videos perfectly. The problem is when I click on the blue link "Download in High Definition with eMule" (the same one indicated in your screen capture at the end of each episode's block).
The link would suggest that it is there to allow users to download the video in question. Quite the contrary ... all it does is download eMule. Well, I have done that but ... what to do next to download the video. I seem to be stuck in an eternal loop. :-(
Can you help me (and also "varietal" who has just joined me) to get to the bottom of this? What promised to be a dream has turned into a nightmare!
Thanks in advance,
Sharon

eMule is an advert and not part of Project Free Tv.
Your best hope is that someone who uses eMule comes along and see's this post and is able to respond to help you.
As Soap pointed out, this is a streaming site.
Sorry I cannot be much more help.

Thanks for that. I completely understand that Project Free TV is a streaming site; the blue link that appears with each video (see Soap's screenshot) is therefore *very* misleading. The implication is clear: click to download the video *using* eMule and *not* download eMule.
I have downloaded eMule and it looks simple enough to use (except for the fact that it doesn't work ...). So, as you say, hopefully, someone with eMule expertise will answer (hope springs eternal!)
For the present, I think I am fighting a losing battle here but, as a moderator of Project Free TV, can you suggest doing something about this misleading link? I don't think I am the only one being led astray by this.
All the best,
Sharon

I don't want to download anything. I simply want to stream the TV show. I downloaded emule - still can't watch anything. I've tried clicking this several times (see attached pic) - again, takes me straight to downloading emule.

As you can see, no where does this say a thing about emule - but emule is exactly what I get.
So, now I will delete emule from my system and maybe someone can help us learn how to stream and watch a TV show.
Thank you.

As far as the eMule link, it does very much present itself as if you are going to directly download the video (in either of two formats!) by clicking on the link. In that sense it is misleading, and probably should be taken down until it is clarified that you are downloading eMule from Sourceforge.net, NOT a video.
As far as eMule itself, it's a downloader that works similar to BitTorrent. If you want to download a video, you should search for the video in eMule's search pane, or possibly get links from some other site (look up your file with "video name" and "ed2k" in Google or some such).

eMule is a BitTorrent/Http/FTP download client.
Project - Free TV is not a Torrent site.
If you want to use eMule you'll have to use a Torrent site to download what you're looking for.
Before you do, a piece of advice, or a warning, if you will.
Downloading episodes of shows, or movies, is copyright infringement, and the owners of these shows/movies have bigger lawyers than you do.
So don't do it.
To any Admins, or Staff:
This ad is very misleading, and it confuses many people.
Perhaps you should remove it entirely, as it brings an image of illegality to your site, and could hurt your reputation as being only a streaming site.

Emule is not worth bothering about, search for Ant Video Downloader at Fire fox add-ons, it works perfectly for almost all streaming video sites. STOP fussing with emule.
