I already watched the pilot, Days Gone By, on another site but only the pilot will be shown there. Hope to see future episodes here. The pilot was a lot like the Walking Dead comic book.

EDIT: Episode 2 was great. I enjoyed it a lot. The portrayal of Lori was a lot less likable than in the comic book. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Rick comes back to the camp with the others.

Interestingly enough AMC allowed the show to do more than I would have thought in this genre. It's got scares and suspense similar to most zombie films but may not be as scary to some hardcore fans of horror. Some fans have complained that the drama drags a little and want to see more zombies.
It might be more scary to others not used to horror films. Other fans have described the zombies as the backdrop of the show and that the drama of the human survivors are the central image of the series. Probably why some fans say there isn't much action to the show.
I love the horror genre but I wasn't sure about the Walking Dead as a TV show since the comic book is gory and graphic. Might have been good as a feature film but it turns out I am enjoying everything I have seen from the first 3 episodes.
