Gorillavid videos not working

There use to be quiet a few threads dealing with Gorillavid problems, but the older ones I remember don't seem to be coming up using the Search function here.
One odd bit of info I did find was a user claiming that Gorillavid worked better in IE. I tried a test of a season 1 link that never loaded in Firefox and used IE instead. After a minute or so, the video started. It streamed in starts and stops, but, at least it started! Stopping and letting the cache build up helped, but I only tried it for a short bit, so the video still did the start/stop routine.
So.... silly as it might sound, you might try using IE.

Hi Void Knight,
Using IE, I'm able to connect to several of the latest episodes of Smallville but others return a "Video not found" message. This message also occurs in Firefox and IE on older videos. It is very strange how one browser may connect to a episode, yet another gives the "Video not found" message.
About the only thing that can be done on your end is to use the "Report Problem" link by each video.
You might also try www.tubeplus.me/player/1319418/Smallville/. They appear to have a few other hosts. Tubeplus is mentioned in the Announcements section of this Forum as a good alternative to find content that may not be listed on PFTV.

Hi Void Knight,
When I tried IE, I waited "awhile", so, depending on the time you spent, there is no telling if something connects.
And, as I wrote earlier:
Hope they get replaced...

As discussed in these Forums, yes there are issues.
I come up with "Video not found" with ever episode I checked. That does imply that they have been removed from the site. You should use the "Report Problem" link next to each video link.
You might also make a request in the "Request a Tv Show" sub Forum of "TV-Shows" asking for the series to be re-added.

Assuming it is not a problem with your internet speed at the time or their servers are not bogged down on that episode or at that time of day you can try a few things.
Try closing the browser and restarting. If that doesn't help then you might need to clear the browser cache. On Firefox that is Options->Advanced->Network->Cached content->clear now.
There are some utilities you can download from CNET download.com to clear all the browser caches on your machine at once.
Flash player has it's own cache and the easiest way to clear it I have found is to install the add-on called Better Privacy and use it's features to clear the LSO (Flash cache objects) whenever you restart your browser. That has fixed Gorilla and Putlocker playback problems for me just by restarting my browser.
